Here is a list of all Cleveland area luxury homes that have either sold or gone under contract so far in 2009.  This report focuses on Cleveland’s Eastern suburbs, specifically: Beachwood, Gates Mills, Hunting Valley, Moreland Hills, Orange, Pepper Pike, and Solon. Luxury homes in the Cleveland marketplace are officially defined as those that sell for over $500,000. Addresses in BOLD indicate sold homes.

Commentary: In the suburbs mentioned above, there have been an average of 5 luxury homes sold per month over the last 6 months. Since there are currently 172 luxury homes listed for sale, it would take almost 3 years to sell all of these homes, provided no more homes came onto the market during this time.
